The Medical Director provides direction, leadership, and support for ED physicians and advanced practice providers.The Medical Director enhances the USACS- Southwest Region relationships with its partners and clients to create a strong, effective Emergency Department.Provides the Medical and Administrative Leadership Necessary to Deliver Patient-Centered Care This position typically works on average a minimum of 30 hours per week between administrative responsibilities and clinical coverage at an USACS-Southwest Region hospital. Other duties may be required depending on the specific needs of your department and patients. This list does not cover every potential Medical Director responsibility. Oversees the availability, timeliness, quality, and appropriateness of clinical services offered to the Emergency Department patient, while working to improve overall departmental performance.
